Create a single foot lock using one part of the silks, leaving the other silk for your other foot later.
Stand up on your locked foot, and lock the second foot in the same way as the first. It may help to pin the pole of the locked silk next to your inner thigh as you lean to tie the second footlock. Experiment and see what works for you!
Getting two even footlocks can be trick. The key is to learn how much slack you need. There are lots of tricks to do this, but mostly just practice until you find out what works for you.
